If you have friends from China on your MSN then you shouldn’t be surprised to see an msn window like the picture above. A Love China protest campaign is spreading through Chinese Internet users as they are adding a “Love China” icon to their MSN chat names by the thousands to show support for their country. The icon is clearly in response to Olympic protest seen in the western countries against China. The Protest over the Olympic torch has understandably steered up nationalistic sentiments among Chinese Internet users. This is possibly the first Internet wide protest of this scale anyone has seen. That’s the power of technology.
